Hi K! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
You're speaking my language! We love to stay at
Disneyland Hotel and start our day at
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill so we can have those delicious Thick & Fluffy Japanese Pancakes--Yum! Since you're interested in the treats at Lucky Fortune Cookery in Pacific Wharf, soon to be
San Franksokyo Square, at Disney California Adventure Park, I'm going to recommend you check out the
Baymax Macaron. A macaron might not be Asian, but it's the cutest treat I've seen at the parks in a long time! Get the camera ready, because this one is worthy of the grid. And for a more Asian treat, enjoy it with
Thai Tea made with Brown Sugar Boba and Sea Salt Cream.
I have a personal recommendation for you! Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park features a
Japanese Cloud Cheesecake. It was the perfect not-too-sweet or heavy complement to the delicious dinner I enjoyed there recently. Definitely make a
Dining Reservation there for a really special night and leave a little room for dessert. You'll also be able to find a Fluffy Japanese Cheesecake soon at Aunt Cass Café in San Franksokyo Square in Disney California Adventure Park, which you can grab using Mobile Order on the Disneyland mobile app.
For another Quick Service Asian-inspired treat you can find currently in the parks, head on over to The Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland in Disneyland Park. The
Chile-Mango Whip has a Thai flare to it, and you can't beat a Dole Whip in terms of snacking!
A great time of year for exploring Asian flavors is
Lunar New Year. To find out what sweet treats will be coming to the Marketplaces, follow
Disney Eats for all the updates on Lunar New Year and other foodie news. Who knows, maybe they'll bring back the Chocolate & Matcha Churros this year for
Halloween Time? One can hope!
Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
