Is it true that the World of Disney at downtown disney is a cheaper place to buy souveniers (t shirts etc) compared to the stores at the parks?

I wish that were true, Amy, but I've never noticed that souvenirs are any less expensive at the World of Disney store than they are at the various stores in the theme parks.  In my experience, any two items that are exactly the same will be priced exactly the same no matter where you purchase them.  I would offer one word of advice, though: if ever you happen upon an item that you simply cannot live without, do not assume you can find it elsewhere.  Too many times I've put off buying something because I (wrongly) assumed I could pick it up at World of Disney on my shopping day only to be disappointed that it wasn't available there.  Had I been a savvy shopper I'd have taken a picture of the item number so that even if I couldn't find it elsewhere I could always order it from Disney Mail Order merchandising.  Lesson learned!  I'm sorry I couldn't offer better news with regard to discounted souvenirs, but hopefully I've passed along a helpful shopping tip anyway.
