Hi Krystal,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see you’ll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow, and I’m so, so excited for you!
Ah, packing for Walt Disney World. I love Disney-themed t-shirts and plan outfits to coordinate with the park I’m visiting that day, including my hair bows,
Minnie Mouse ears, and other accessories. It’s so much fun for me to lay out each outfit before packing it and imagine all the magic that’s coming my way!
I recommend taking a look at the
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules to ensure your drinking-themed shirt complies with the Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies. Note that Disney’s Cast Members reserve the right to deny theme park entrance or remove any Guest wearing inappropriate clothing, or items that could impact other Guests negatively, and they also may remove inebriated Guests. This is at the Cast Member’s discretion.
When it comes to
meeting characters, I would advise asking the Cast Member stationed at the entrance of the queue, especially if the queue is long, so ensure you’ll be allowed to take a photo. Ultimately, the character attendant has the final word. You may want to bring a back-up shirt in your backpack just in case – I change my shirt multiple times a day in summer at Walt Disney World anyway because it’s so hot, so this is probably a good idea anyway.
There are so many
fun drinks and treats all around the theme parks, and many Guests enjoy “snacking around the world” at
Epcot, where they sample small plates and beverages from the countries in the World Showcase. Since you’ve come to the
Moms Panel, I’m going to put my Mom hat on and remind you to please drink responsibly. It’s easy to over-indulge with so many delicious options - and in the Florida heat - so please take your time, drink lots of water, and be sure to eat lots of yummy treats along with those beverages.
Have the best summer vacation starting TOMORROW, Krystal!
Now, more than ever, it’s an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World, and I hope you have so much fun in the sun!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
