Is it true that Test Track in Epcot and Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom will be closed in January? Planning a trip January 11-18--and just heard 2 of our favorite rides may not be open.

    Hi, Ruth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I can totally understand how you feel. I visited the Walt Disney World Resort three times before I was able to enjoy Splash Mountain for the first time. Can you believe that?

Test Track and Splash Mountain will, indeed, undergo refurbishment in January and February 2020, Ruth. The bright side of these renovations is that you have not only one, but two awesome excuses to start planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation to enjoy them!

The Walt Disney World Resort attraction guide is an awesome tool that will help you find the open attractions for January 2020. There will be a lot happening at the Walt Disney World Resort, and the all-new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be ready to enlist you to fight the authoritarians of the First Order!

I will be here hoping that your trip is unforgettable, Ruth! If more questions come up before January, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's always a pleasure to help!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
