When I heard about the
planned update of Splash Mountain, I was beyond excited! Tiana is such an iconic character! And, the music and theme of Princess and the Frog will make for a wonderful ride. But, I understand wanting to enjoy another thrilling log-flume adventure before the change occurs.
Beginning May 31, 2023, Splash Mountain will be closed to undergo its exciting transformation. It will reopen in late 2024 as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. So, if you have your heart set on riding it before it closes for good, you may want to move your trip up by a couple of days.
During your trip be sure to check out the recently re-opened
Mickey's Toontown! There, you'll find the newest attraction,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway!
