Hello. Is it true that there is some sort of layaway program to visit Disney?

Welcome to planDisney, Ivan! I'm excited to hear that you're thinking about planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season. The weeks around Christmas are my favorite time to visit The Most Magical Place On Earth! While the Theme Parks and Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are magical every day of the year, there's something about that extra layer of pixie dust that gets sprinkled right around the holiday season that makes it the perfect time of year for a magical family vacation.

Budgeting for your trip is the very first step in planning your vacation so you're definitely starting off on the right foot. At this time, there is no dedicated layaway program, but you can pay for your trip in installments if that is what you want to do. When you book a vacation package, meaning a Resort Hotel reservation bundled with Theme Park tickets, you only need to pay a $200 deposit to secure that reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your check-in, and you can make payments at your discretion through My Disney Experience. If you are only booking a Resort Hotel stay without tickets, your deposit will be the cost of one night of your stay and the remaining balance will be due upon check-in. Prices and timeframes are subject to change, so make sure to read your reservation documents carefully when you book so you have the most up-to-date information.

Thanks for swinging by with your question today, and have fun planning your magical vacation!
