Is it true that the person who purchases the tickets (3 day passes) must be there to pick up the passes. My father is gifting me two 3 day passes but will not be going with me. Is this accurate? Is there any way to resolve this problem?

    Hi Christine!

Wow!  In just two short days you will be at Walt Disney World, I just happen to know a great tour guide if you need one. ;-)  Yes, you should be able to pick up your tickets despite the fact that your father is gifting them to you, as long as these are not military discounted tickets.  Military discounted tickets work a little differently and your father would have to present in order for you to pick up these types of tickets.

You will just need to have a print out with the bar code/reservation number which will indicate what type of tickets you will be picking up.  I have also heard of guests bringing a photo copy of the purchasers id just in case, but I have personally never needed to use it.  The copy of your reservation should also indicate the location your father specified for pick up when he ordered the tickets.

I hope you have a magical vacation, Christine and please visit us again if you have anymore questions.

    Best Wishes!
