Is it true that Paint the Night will pause during Christmas/ Holiday season? It’s being advertised as “through” the 70th anniversary. Finally getting to go for holidays and was looking forward to seeing PTN again, and holidays at DL for the 1st time?.

Hi Jasmine! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for sending us your question.

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho! Off to the Disneyland Resort you go! It's so exciting to hear that you have a vacation planned at The Happiest Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! Paint the Night Parade is my favorite parade, so I understand why you would want to see it glowing down Main Street, U.S.A.! You are correct that Paint the Night is scheduled to appear during the 70th Anniversary Celebration beginning May 16, 2025. When Halloween and the holidays begin, some parades do pause to make way for the holiday-themed ones. I know it's disappointing when you look forward to something, and I'm sorry you won't be able to see that parade when you visit. I can promise you that being at the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays is absolutely magical and my favorite time of the year to visit. I highly recommend planning to see A Christmas Fantasy Parade. It's another great parade at Disneyland Park and not to be missed! Be sure to grab a spot on Main Street, U.S.A., and arrive early for the best views.

Disney Parks Blog will have all of the details about what you can look forward to during the Holidays, so stay tuned! When I'm counting down to the start of my vacation, I like to spend my time planning what to wear and where we will be dining. You can make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 60 days before your arrival dates.

I hope this information helps with your planning. If you have more questions before you arrive, please stop by planDisney again. We would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
