Is it true that non resort guests can use the GCH entrance into DCA if they dine at one of the restaurants inside the hotel? As we are dining at the Storytellers Cafe for breakfast one day and it be convenient for us to use this entrance after we dine.

    Hi there Ashleigh,

It's so nice to hear from you again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I know your trip must be coming up soon!  Time flies, huh?

Technically, the Grand Californian entrance to California Adventure is reserved for guests of the Disneyland Resort hotels so from time to time, especially on busy weekends, guests may be asked to present their room keys in order to utilize this convenient turnstile location.  That said, on most occasions, I have not been asked to show my room key, but always have my dining receipt handy just in case!

If you are turned around, no worries!  All you'll need to do is head back through the lobby and follow signs for Downtown Disney!  From here, it's still just a short stroll to the esplanade where you can enter Disney California Adventure through the main entrance!

    Best Wishes,
