is it true that we can no longer book tickets online for magic kingdom and animal kingdom on 18 and 19 April? Is this still possible at the cash register?

    Hi Ashley!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Walt Disney World Resort is definitely the "Most Magical Place on Earth" and I wish I had more magical news for you. Currently, Guests need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to visit the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Unfortunately, theme park reservations for all four theme parks are unavailable on April 18 and 19, so you can't currently buy tickets for those days either online or at the theme park ticket windows.

All hope is not lost, though, as you will still be able to enjoy Disney magic during your trip. Occasionally, reservation availability changes, so you can keep checking the Disney Park Pass system for reservations to open up for your dates. If reservations do open, I recommend that you purchase your tickets and make your reservations as soon as possible because they are limited.

If you are unable to visit the theme parks during your trip, you can still enjoy Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. Disney Springs is an incredible destination at Walt Disney World Resort that doesn't require theme park tickets or reservations. This beautiful destination offers incredible dining, amazing shopping, and fantastic entertainment. Did you know that Disney Springs is the home to Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney? This new show is exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort and combines the incredible talents of Cirque du Soleil with the magic of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. I recommend that you combine Drawn to Life with dinner at one of the incredible restaurants at Disney Springs for a practically perfect Disney day!
