I sure am glad that you came to planDisney, Tanika! With four theme parks, two water parks, a world-class shopping district, and countless dining locations, there are bound to be some untrue rumors that are going to emerge from time to time. Unfortunately, you heard one of those rumors!
Guests entering any of the Disney Parks (regardless of time) must have valid theme park admission. If you want to visit both Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (for
Fantasmic!), on the same day, you would need to purchase a
Park Hopper Ticket. This ticket “add-on” purchase would allow you to begin your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and then “hop” to Disney’s Hollywood Studios any time beginning at 2:00 PM. A Park Hopper ticket does cost more than a regular park ticket.
Tanika, what you are allowed to do is enter a Disney Park, leave that park, and then re-enter the same park later in the day for no additional cost. That is a strategy that my family uses just about every day we visit the parks during vacation!
Again, I’m really glad you thought to check out that information with planDisney! I hope the correct information that I provided is helpful with your planning! Come on back if you have more questions!
Happy Planning!
