Hi, Matt!
When ordering a Table Service meal, a credit from the
Disney Dining Plan will cover an entrée and a dessert. You also get a non-alcoholic beverage, such as a soft drink, coffee, or tea. When available, you can swap your dessert for a salad or soup (but really who wants to skip those awesome desserts?!)
Additional items that you will be charged for are appetizers, specialty or alcoholic drinks, and any additional items you might add to your meal (example: adding a shrimp skewer onto your steak or asking for an extra side dish with your entrée).
When ordering, your server will be happy to explain your menu options so you do not have any surprise charges on your bill at the end of your meal. Remember that you will need to pay for
gratuity as it is not included in the price of the dining plan.
I hope you get to enjoy some fabulous meals in Walt Disney World!
Cathy
