Is it true that a continental breakfast is free at the resorts?

Hi, Marti! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, there is not a free continental breakfast currently offered unless you are staying in a Club Level room at a Deluxe Resort.

Most hotels do have a food court or other restaurants conveniently located on site where you can purchase many delicious breakfast options. To assist with budgeting, you may want to add the Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. For one prepaid amount you receive dining credits to redeem for meals and snacks during your stay. What I love about the Disney Dining Plan is not having to worry about meal expenses during my vacation. I can relax knowing it is all taken care of and enjoy some pretty amazing food.

If your family does not normally eat large breakfasts, you can bring groceries into your room or order from a local grocery delivery service who will deliver right to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. My family uses gardengrocer.com for this exact purpose. We typically order fruit, granola bars, muffins, and bottled water we eat in our room before heading out for the day's adventures. If your groceries arrive to your hotel before you do, they will be kept at Bell Services until you are able to retrieve them.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Marti!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
