Is it true I cannot use a foldable wagon for my four and six year olds who are too big to carry and too big for a stroller. They won’t last walking all day. Do I have other options? This wagon is not that big and does fold up small.

Bob, hello and welcome to planDisney. I'm glad you've stopped by with your question.

From time to time rules and regulations at Walt Disney World change for the safety and well-being of all Guests visiting. At this time, wagons and stroller wagons of any kind are no longer permitted inside of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Strollers must also now fit within the dimensions 31” (79cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long or smaller.

I realize that your wagon is a great solution for your family, Bob. It can be a little stressful trying to figure out what to do with your kids that are too big to carry but too small to walk around all day.
I would consider renting a stroller directly from the Walt Disney World Theme Parks when you need it. They are brand new and a great size for even older kids that need a break. Since you have two children, a double stroller is going to be a great option for you. Size-wise the double stroller is equipped to hold around 100 pounds. Double strollers rent for around $31.00 per day and if you wanted to do a length of stay rental you can save a little bit of cash at around $27.00 per day. If you do the daily rate and want to park hop, be sure to save your receipt. You only need to pay once per day but can enjoy your stroller benefit at any park you may visit that day.

The new strollers are made out of hard plastic and are Mickey and Minnie-themed. You'll find cup holders and a storage bag for all the goodies you might pick up throughout the day. Because all of these strollers look the same, I do suggest bringing a ribbon or bandana from home so you can easily identify it in the crowds.

I hope this helps, Bob. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
