    What is true cancellation policy on Disney hotel?

    Currently, the Walt Disney World Resort is waiving cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations arriving through December 31, 2020. There has been no word yet if there will be an extension to this date. In the past, pre-pandemic, your deposit on your Walt Disney World Resort room-only reservation was fully refundable up to five days before check-in. If you had a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, that reservation could be canceled up to 30 days before arrival without penalty.
