Is it true only California residents are allowed to attend ? We live in Oklahoma but plan to go to California and want to take our kids so I’m trying to verify before I buy tickets?

Welcome Foolish Mortals to planDisney. I’m Shantel and I am thrilled to be your Ghost Host for the day.

I can’t think of anything more frightening, I mean exciting, than planning a visit to Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth will have to be on hold a little longer. At the moment, Disneyland Resort is only available to California residents. There haven't been any new updates as to when out-of-state Guests can visit just yet. I am hoping soon, that everyone will be able to visit the parks once again.

As we out-of-state Guests wait for our chance to Return to a Land of Magic, I do recommend keeping up with the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information. There is where you will find what's happening in the parks, and hopefully read an announcement about being able to return.

Once out-of-state Guests can return, you will be able to purchase your tickets and schedule your Theme Park Reservations 60 days or more in advance. Until then, keep your Faith, Trust and with a little bit of Pixie Dust, you will soon be returning to The Happiest Place on Earth.

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
