Hi, is it true that the buses in POFQ are sometimes so crowded that you have to wait a very long time to get a ride? The internet is full of such news. We are there for 14 days in early May.

Hi Andre and welcome back to planDisney!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is such a great Disney Resort hotel.  The feeling of Mardi Gras is alive all throughout the property and the colorful details are so beautiful.

Staying at a Disney Resort hotel includes complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs.  The bus pick up location is near the lobby in the front of the resort.  During busier times of the year, additional buses will be provided, so the wait is not unusually long.  In all of the times I have used Disney bus transportation at any resort, including Port Orleans - French Quarter, I have always been able to get on the first bus that arrives.  If you do end up in the situation where the bus is full before you can board, rest assured that another bus isn't too far behind.  There are screens located at the bus stop that will show you the approximate time the next bus will arrive for your desired destination.

Andre, be sure to stop by Scat Cat's Club for some delicious Mickey shaped beignets and a cup of coffee.  It's a must-do when staying in the French Quarter!

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
