Is it true that your annual pass clock does not start till you use the pass for the first time? I just bought an annual pass, but if I don't use it for the first time till December. Does the clock start now or in December when I first use it?

    Hello, Brandon,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  It's great to read that you are now an Annual Passholder!  Being an Annual Passholder provides you with discounts on merchandise, dining, and even rooms at Disney resorts.  It also has extras like the opportunity to purchase unique merchandise or do activities like EPCOT Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth at discount. But I have to admit, for me, the greatest perk is being able to visit the theme parks more frequently!

When you purchase your Annual Pass, it is not activated until the date you begin using it rather than when it is purchased. While you are waiting for your December trip, you can begin planning the different attractions & entertainment you hope to include in your visit. Maybe you'll want to include a night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which is loads of fun.

Wishing you a magical day! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
