Is it true that if it is your ACTUAL birthday, your ticket is free or discounted? My son's birthday is November 28, (Thanksgiving) and we would like to go to Disneyland! It is open, right? Thank you for your help!

    Hi there Susan,

Let me start by saying Happy early birthday to your son!  Disneyland is indeed open on Thanksgiving day, but the "free birthday admission" promotion was discounted several years ago and has not been offered since.

Disneyland is a great place to celebrate your son's birthday and this is a great time to visit!  The decorations are gorgeous and the special holiday shows and parades are amazing!  Be sure to stop by Town Hall so he can be presented with a complimentary "It's my Birthday" button!  This will earn him lots of recognition on his special day!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
