I have trouble walking long distance, but I don't need a wheel chair yet. I requested a room at the hotel on the lower floor and near a bus stop. but will I need a doctors note for a guest assistance card. i just want to be prepared. thanks

Hi, Lisa!  You never really need a doctor's note to obtain a guest assistance card, but it can be helpful.  A quick note from your doctor letting the cast members know what they can do to help you reach that magical experience we all hope for on vacation  can sometimes be much easier than having to explain it yourself.

My sister, for example, had numerous health issues, and it wasn't always easy to see or explain how to make things easier for her.  I always brought a note from her doctor with me so the cast members knew what type of special assistance she needed.

I have always found the cast members to be sensitive and understanding, and I hope your experience will be the same.  I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
