Welcome back to planDisney, Jill!
Thank you for stopping by with an excellent question. We are thrilled to continue to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort adventure!
Are you ready to enter the Grid?
TRON Lightcyle / Run is already open at Magic Kingdom Park, offering Guests the experience of climbing aboard their own Lightcyle and going on a high-speed adventure! This new attraction is based on the Disney sci-fi film TRON: Legacy, so I highly recommend checking the movie on Disney+ before your visit.
A
virtual queue is in place for TRON: Lightcyle / Run, and Guests may also purchase individual
Lightning Lane entry. You must use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to join the virtual queue. A standby queue is not available. To try joining the queue, you need to have valid theme park tickets and a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. There are two daily opportunities to request to join to queue, one at 7:00 am (you do not have to be in the park) and another at 1:00 pm (you must be inside Magic Kingdom Park). Please note that boarding groups are limited, subject to availability, and not guaranteed.
To purchase individual Lightning Lane entry, you will also need to use the My Disney Experience mobile app beginning at theme park opening time or at 7:00 am if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Lightning Lane entry is also subject to limited availability, change, or closure. You can purchase a Lightning Lane entry and still try joining the virtual queue.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Jill. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
