Tron Lightning Lane Pass: I’m reading the purchase window opens at 7:00AM daily for Disney World hotel guests. Will we be eligible for the 7:00AM window on the day of our arrival even though our check in at Caribbean Beach isn’t technically until 3:00PM?

    Welcome to the Grid, Ryan!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Ryan, I was just at Walt Disney World Resort in June and got to enjoy TRON Lightcycle / Run for the first time. You are in for a wild ride on one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world!  It's an exhilarating experience like no other, and I'm so excited you are ready for the challenge.

Ryan, did you know that you can actually check-in in advance on the My Disney Experience app?  Even though your room won't likely be ready prior to 3:00 p.m., you can check in days before your arrival day and will receive a push notification or a text when your room is ready. It saves a step on arrival day and you can go directly to your room once it's ready.  If you like, you should also be able to drop your bags with Bell Services at your Resort, so once your room is ready, you can go directly to your room and simply call Bell Services for your bags to be delivered to your room. To check in prior to your visit, go to your My Disney Experience app and click on your Resort reservation. You should see a "check-in" link and just follow the steps, and then with a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, check-in will be done for you.

Then, on the day of your visit to Magic Kingdom Park, you should be able to make an Individual Lightning Lane booking for TRON Lightcycle / Run on your park day as long as you have a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation for that date. You can either book the Virtual Queue or book an Individual Lightning Lane beginning at 7:00 a.m.

One tip, Ryan, is that I recommend setting your alarm and being on the app a few minutes before 7:00 a.m., as these Individual Lightning Lanes and Virtual Queue spots go quickly.  But by getting on right at that time, you should be able to secure one for your visit.

I hope this helps you, Ryan, and you enjoy the ride. If you have any further questions, race back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
