Hi Tron! I know you've mentioned how much your family enjoys Disney's Hilton Head Island. We're considering a trip there. Can you tell me about some special activities for couples? Is there onsite Table Service dining? If not, where do YOU dine? Thank you!”
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort combines two of my favorite things in the world: Disney & my favorite beach! It's a fantastic family destination, but also perfect for couples who are looking to get away from it all and relax!
My hubby & I enjoy renting bikes at the Resort and exploring all over the island's via it's trails. If you enjoy golf, tennis, swimming, and fishing, you will find ample opportunities all over the island. You can also sign up for many tours around the Resort and on HHI - historical, environmental, walking, kayaking, and even dolphin-watching cruises!
The pools at Disney's HHI Resort cannot be beat! If shopping is your thing, the outlet malls in Bluffton, across the bridge, are world-class. And, let's not forget the BEACH!!! HHI is known for it's gorgeous, wide open beaches, with plenty of room to run and bike and swim and do water activities, and of course, relax with a book - whatever your heart desires!
We love to take day trips to Savannah, Charleston, & Beaufort, each within a 30 minute to 2 hour drive of HHI. These are three of the most beautiful cities in the USA, if not the world, with amazing sight-seeing & dining opportunities! And you won't find anywhere better to indulge your interest in history and architecture!
The only dining establishment at the Resort is "Tide Me Over", a snack bar open for breakfast and lunch. The Resort hosts a "Broad Creek Oyster Roast" and campfire on most Friday nights (seasonal, check to see when available). Our dining faves are: Kenny B's, Signee's, Skull Creek Boathouse, The Crazy Crab, Chef David's, the Sea Shack, & Giuseppe's - really, there are too many to list!
Have a wonderful time on your FIRST trip there - I guarantee it won't be your last!
