are there trolleys in the parks or do you have to walk everywhere once inside the park? my sister has some mobility issues but not enough to need a wheelchair. thanks!

    Hi Patrice,

Magic Kingdom is the only one of the 4 theme parks that offers a couple of options. The Main Street Vehicles (horse-pulled trolley, omnibus, horseless carriage or fire engine) take guests down Main Street to Cinderella Castle (or vice versa) but that's as far as they go. The WDW Railroad offers 3 stops along the route (Toontown, Main Street U.S.A. & Frontierland).  You could travel from one part of the park to another park via the railroad.

I'm afraid that these are the only options offered within any of the 4 theme parks without resorting to renting a wheelchair or an ECV. Check with Guest Services when you enter the park to see if they have any other options.

The parks are really big & there is a LOT of walking involved. Even if your sister does not normally use a wheelchair, she may find that she may benefit from renting one in the parks. If she's reluctant at first, try it without it & see how it goes. If she later sees that she would benefit from a wheelchair you could rent one later (if available - there are a limited number of each at the parks).

Wheelchairs are available for rent in all 4 of the theme parks. The Rental fees for wheelchairs in the theme parks is $15 per day or $13 per day if you purchase a Length of Stay rental if you plan on renting for more than a day (these are always subject to change without notice). Wheelchairs may not leave the park in which they were rented. If you park hop on any given day, retain your rental receipt to present at the next park to obtain another wheelchair (if available).

Please let us know if you have further questions.  We're happy to assist you.  Wishing you many magical memories :-)
