1st 2 trips Pop Century, planning to go 12/11-16 & considering upgrading to moderate for queen beds. POFQ isn't available. I think Coronado is only other with queens. ?? Is it worth $277 to upgrade? What are the differences between Coronado & Pop?

    Hi Kristi,

The value of the upgrade will depend on whether you would feel better spending the $277 extra on something else or if the accommodations are more important to your family.

If possible, I would recommend the upgrade from Pop Century to Coronado Springs. Coronado has queen beds. (Port Orleans French Quarter has renovated to queens and Port Orleans Riverside is in the process of a long overhaul to do so as well. Caribbean Beach Resort still has doubles.)

Coronado has more dining options. The Pepper Market food court is innovative with delicious food and a beautiful setting. The Maya Grill is a table-service restaurant. You'll also have a quick service location, Cafe Rix, to pick up snacks, pizza, and more. There's also room service!

The lobby area is beautiful. While the resort is large, it has fantastic amenities. In fact, it has some amenities that are only found at deluxe resorts such as a spa! The pool area is outstanding. There is a long, fun pool slide, playground, arcade, pool bar, hot tub, kiddie wading pool, volleyball court, and more!

There is a lagoon in the middle of the resort with watercraft rentals.

Coronado Springs is a great value for the cost!
