Hi Denise!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Coming from the UK myself, I totally understand the need to do some laundry while staying at Walt Disney World - I simply cannot pack enough clothes for a two-weeks- or longer! You will find the laundry facilities at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter very easy to use. Charges may vary, but current prices are $3 for a washer, and $3 for a dryer. You can also purchase washing powder for around $1, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer, or if you are sensitive to different washing products. All payments are made at machines within the laundry room and can only be made by credit card or debit card (you cannot use your
MagicBand to make a room charge here, and the machines accept cash at only some of the Resort hotels). The 24-hour laundry room at your Resort hotel is located near the
Doubloon Lagoon pool. There is also a dry cleaning and valet laundry service available - you will find the laundry bag in your hotel room - simply fill out the form and call "Housekeeping" from your Guest Room phone. Full details of the
laundry services can be seen here - including the very cool "Laundry View" which enables you to see how many washing machines/dryers are in use/free before you take your washing to the laundry room!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
