Are tripods allowed in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure

Hi Nayahely, welcome back to planDisney!

I have great news for you, according to the Disneyland Resort Rules tripods are allowed at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! Just make sure that they can fit inside a standard backpack and that they do not extend over 6 feet (182 centimeters). However, please know that selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices are not allowed at the theme parks.

And speaking of pictures, have you considered using the Disney Genie+ Service at your next magical trip to the Disneyland Resort? In addition to getting access to the Lightning Lane entrances at certain attractions, you also get to enjoy unlimited Disney PhotoPass Digital Downloads! The Disney PhotoPass Photographers take the BEST pictures. The Disneyland Resort website has a great section on where you can find the Disney PhotoPass Photographers. You can even find them using the Disneyland Mobile app! For a fun surprise, ask the Disney PhotoPass Photographer for a Magic Shot. They'll add super cool elements like Disney characters and other fun surprises! Our family loves the Magic Shots and tries to do a bunch every time we visit!

Please come back if you have any more questions, we're glad to help!

    See ya real soon!
