Hiya, Debbie! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
It sounds like you might be a shutterbug like me, and I have good news! According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, tripods are allowed on the property, including the theme parks, as long as they fit inside a standard backpack and do not extend over 6’ (182 cm). Please note that this is subject to change at any time and that this policy does cover selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, which are not permitted.
Debbie, please let me suggest some of my favorite photo spots for you to enjoy at
Disneyland Park. The first is a side shot of
Sleeping Beauty Castle which you can find by walking on the small path toward Snow White's wishing well on the right side of the castle. The view is iconic and you will hopefully have fewer Guests in the background. Another picture spot that I love is the blue and white wall tucked behind the Fantasy Faire Gifts kiosk by
"it's a small world" in
Fantasyland. The blue and white pattern is themed like "it's a small world" and is a simple and gorgeous backdrop.
At
Disney California Adventure Park, I love the view of
Pixar Pal-A-Round from Paradise Gardens Park, which is across from
The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure attraction. Grab an iconic Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar and capture a sweet picture there.
I hope this helps, Debbie! Please visit us again real soon!
