I have triplets age 5 and they really want to swim with the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon. However, I read on here earlier that they had to be 10 to do this, But I have read reviews on allears.net where kids younger than 10 have done this. What is correct?

    Hey Kelly,

I was at Typhoon Lagoon with my daughter last year who was 6 years old at that time and we were told by the cast member who was giving out snorkels and life jackets to everyone in the line, that as long as the children were comfortable with snorkeling and were fairly good swimmers, it would be okay for them to go in.  If you check this link I am providing, you will see that Disney World's own website of policies for rides and attractions specifically states that "children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult", so as long as you are with them you should be okay!

Your child must be comfortable enough to swim from one side to the other without panicking. They do have life jackets on and there is a so called resting area built into the middle of the swimming hole.
    Hope this helps!
