This is our 2nd trip& we knew NOTHING last time-learned so much from you:) Have dp+d 4 kids 5,11,13,18 7nghts in June@pop. Which is better Seafood? Coral Reef or Cape May, seen allears & can't decide! Also, doing Cal. Grill- is Ohana's worth it?

    Liza:

I'm all about the dining at Disney!

Since you're on the Dining Plan, I would encourage you to get the most of it, and if I have a choice between Coral Reef and Cape May, I'd have to go with Coral Reef.  The giant aquarium that takes up one whole side of the restaurant is a sight in itself that will please all ages in your group!  The Lobster Soup and Chocolate Wave were favorites on the menu!  I like your choice of California Grill--get a late reservation if you can, so you can enjoy the view of the fireworks from either the restaurant or the observation deck!

As for Ohanas, it's my children's favorite restaurant.  The open kitchen and floor games captivate as well as the food.  Don't fill up too fast, though!  They usually send around the pork shanks before the beef and shrimp!  If you can't get an 8:00 p.m. reservation so you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the restaurant, grab an earlier one and you'll be able to see them from the pier to top off the night!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
