    Our trip is 5/28-6/4 with our 4 yr old son. I waited too long, the only character dining is at Ohana for breakfast w/ Mickey, pluto and Lilo and Stich. Is it necessary to do meal to have time w/ characters? R there enough opportunity to meet at parks?

    Hi Deirdra - First of all, I think it's great that you have a character meal at 'Ohana - that is my family's favorite character breakfast!  The food is wonderful and the venue is so much fun!

    I'd encourage you to keep trying for reservations.  I've heard from several people who have had luck booking last minute by scooping up a cancellation.  You can even check with guest services or your resort concierge once you are at Walt Disney World.

    As for character interactions, the meals definitely provide you the best opportunity, but there are lots of other opportunities.  You can find characters at all of the parks, and there are specific locations at each park where characters can be found.  If you have specific characters you are looking for, feel free to ask us another question (you can ask me directly by going to my profile page), and I can let you know where to find them.
