1st trip w/8 &7 yr old girls looking for fast pass recommendations? How early can you make these and what reservations can I make at 180 days? Where, when and how can we find out need additions to park for summer'15?

Hello Erika, thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  My daughter is 7 years old and I know just how fun it is planning a Walt Disney World vacation for girls that age!

180 days in advance, you can make your dining reservations.  You can start making those reservations online at 6:00a.m. or over the phone at 7:00a.m. by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will be able to make 3 FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance with your My Disney Experience account.  If you are an off property guest, you can still make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance.

My daughter loves thrill rides at Walt Disney World and is tall enough for all but one, so those are what I usually try to make our FastPass+ selections for.  At Magic Kingdom park, we normally select Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain.  The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a new attraction so this is another great one to use a FastPass+ selection on.  If your girls like Belle, they will love Enchanted Tales With Belle and that would be another attraction to try to use a FastPasss+ on. Meeting Elsa and Anna is also an option for a FastPass+ selection and a great choice if your girls are as Frozen obsessed as my daughter!  At Disney's Hollywood Studios we try to make FastPass+ selections for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania!, and Star Tours - The Adventures Continue.  My daughter isn't tall enough to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, but if she was I would try to select  one for that as well. At Disney's Animal Kingdom she loves the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.  At Epoct, Soarin' and Test Track are great attractions to use a FastPass+ selection on because wait times are always so long.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
