This our 5th trip to WDW.We have stayed at CBR,AKL,&WL.In Aug.we are staying at the Beach Club.We booked a Garden View room.Is there a specific room to request that is near food and pool? Our son has foot issues so we try to limit walking while at resor

    Hi Diana,

You are in for a treat.  I really enjoy Disney's Beach Club Resort.  I also love that you are trying lots of different resorts at Walt Disney World - each has something unique to offer. At Disney's Beach Club Resort, I especially love getting ice cream at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, taking a swim at Stormalong Bay, and the quick walk to Epcot.

I think that the best way for you to go in making your room request is to explain exactly what you did in your question.  Rather than asking for a particular room number, if you can explain to Disney what you are looking for, then they can work with that information.  If you give specific room numbers, they might not be sure why you asked for the room numbers that you did.  If I were you, I would ask for a room that is near to the pool and to food, and explain that you are asking since your son has foot issues.  Luckily, the pool complex is near to a lot of food, so these requests are complimentary.  By requesting a room that is closer to the food and pool, you are going to end up in a room that is a little farther from Epcot.  The good news is that Disney's Beach Club Resort is fairly compact, so the walks should not be too long no matter where you are. I would make this request by calling Disney's Beach Club Resort directly at (407) 934-8000 within 10 days of your check-in date.  Please do note that while Disney will try their best to honor requests, they are not guaranteed.

Have a great time planning your vacation, Diana, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
