We will be on our 1st trip to WDW with our 7.5 yr old son for 5 full days (Oct 17th - 21st). Please suggest how we should plan the 4 parks, must-do shows and which park to repeat on the 5th day. We have Magic Your Way Pkg with Dining for 5 days.

    Hi Sukeshi.

Thanks for turning to the Moms Panel for some planning advice for your trip!  My family and I just returned from Walt Disney World so this will be a really fresh answer as we had nearly the exact scenario!

We chose to start where it all began, in the Magic Kingdom.  We followed that with Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. We decided to return to the park that the entire family wanted to see more of on the last day which was, no surprise, the Magic Kingdom.  It was a close vote though with Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Magic Kingdom all with a vote.  Our youngest broke the tie.

I hope you don't mind, but I asked my 8 year old son for his advice on what shows are must do's since he will relate to your son better than you or I.

His answers in order: Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular; Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show; Fantasmic; The Magic, Memories and You, It's Tough to be a Bug and Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy.

    Have a magical time!
