We are going on our 1st trip To WDW the week of Feb. 18-25. We are going for 6 days/5 nts and are wondering what are the best days to go. I read in one of the guide books that Presidents day is busy which is the Mon. Should we go Sat-Thurs or Mon-Sat?

    Hi Andrea!

It is fair to say that Walt Disney World is most crowded when children are generally not in school.  That makes holidays and the summer a relatively crowded time to visit.  However, which parks are particularly crowded on which days changes throughout the year.

There are rules of thumb about the parks, but if you want really good advice on which park to visit on which day, I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar for predicting the crowds on any given day in any given park.  I believe that is exactly what you are looking for.  There's a small subscription fee, but it's worth every penny.  They will also share with you tips on how to minimize your wait in lines on whatever day you do decide to go.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
