1st trip to WDW this spring with 5 and 2 year olds. Heat wise, is there a difference between mid April and early May? How long is bus ride from AoA to MK? Concerned with getting back for midday naps.

    Hi there, Allie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I do not think you will see much difference in heat in May versus April.  Weather is so unpredictable so I would not necessarily worry too much about that.  Typically weather is sunny and warm then, but not too warm.   That is actually my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World!

Having traveled myself many times with babies and toddlers, I can appreciate your concern about getting back to your resort from the parks.  In order to get to Disney's Art of Animation Resort from Magic Kingdom Park, hop on a Disney Bus marked for your resort. The trip should take around 20 minutes or so…not bad at all.  Keep in mind that you may have to wait for up to 20 minutes or so for transportation to arrive.  Also, I found that my children all traveled and adjusted quite well as toddlers.  You might be surprised.  Even if your children are not accustomed to sleeping in a stroller or on the bus, that may happen.  The regular routine may not necessarily occur on your trip.

Please let us know if we can help with additional questions, Allie.

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
