1st trip to WDW this September. Friday (Day 4 of our trip) we don't have anything planned except hang at pool/ MNSSHP at night. We leave Sat am on a 10:50 AM flight. Was going to do Chef Mickey's that morning. What time works? or should we do Fri instead?

    Hi Kristina!

I am so excited for your first trip to the Walt Disney World resort! You are very wise to plan a nice, relaxing day on the night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It is my favorite hard-ticketed event/party at Walt Disney World. I love HalloWishes!

I am not sure if you are utilizing Disney's Magical Express to take you to the airport. If your flight is at 10:50 a.m., then your motor coach will pick you up approximately 3 hours before your departure. I don't think that would be enough time to really enjoy your breakfast without feeling rushed, and I would opt for Chef Mickey's on Friday. I am a second and third helping type of gal, so I need some extra time for my plan of attack at the buffet.

Sleep in a little and plan for a later breakfast seating on Friday at Chef Mickey's. Then you will still have plenty of pool time before you head to the party. Please say hi to Mickey for me!

If you have any other questions, please ask. I sincerely love answering your vacation planning questions. Have a very magical vacation!
