Trip to WDW planned for 2/26-3/4. we surprised my daughter + niece w/ news we will be going to WDW on school vacation in Feb. to celebrate dgtr 9th (Jan) and her cousins7th(April) does this count as bday celebration for pins and restaurants reservations?

    Hi Brandi,

How exciting to be planning a double birthday celebration at Walt Disney World!  What is more exciting is that you will be visiting during the final days of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort.  Your girls are going to make some unforgettable memories!  I think you should be nominated for some Mother-And-Aunt-Of-The-Year award!

I like to think of a celebration as an event, and not tied to a specific date.  So, if you are planning on celebrating combined birthdays in February, then I'm sure Mickey wants to be a part of it!  Personally, I have also done this with my own family.  We have celebrated combined birthdays in April at Walt Disney World for birthdays which occurred in March through May.  My birthday boys and girl had a blast and they really bonded over their celebration.

I'm glad you mentioned celebration buttons.  Yes, you should definitely stop by Guest Relations inside a theme park to pick up celebration buttons for the girls to wear each day.  It is also a good idea to note your celebration in any reservation that you have.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you should have your celebration noted and can usually stop by the front desk to pick up celebration buttons there as well.  If you have advanced dining reservations for a table service dining location, be sure to also note your birthdays there.  You never know what "Magical Extra" may happen for the birthday girls!

Brandi, I wish you the most Magical birthday celebration with your girls!  If we can help you with any other vacation planning questions, please come back and visit us again.  We are always happy to help you plan your next Magical adventure.
