Hi! 1st trip to WDW in Mar. DH, DS5, DD4 and myself. Having a hard time deciding on whether or not to get the DDP. Want to have plenty of options if needed but don't want to waste food/money. We have ADRs for 1 TS meal per day (5). Can anyone help.

I would definitely recommend purchasing the original Disney Dining Plan, especially if you are already planning on eating at least one table service meal per day.  The snack credits can be used on a wide variety of items, in the parks as well as in the resorts and the resort gift shops.  My family uses snack credits on milk, water, popcorn, ice cream, and lots of other items we find ourselves wanting throughout our days.

You can use table service credits for any of your other meals, and if your kids are like mine and don't eat too much, you can let them share a meal and have another credit for a different meal.  With the Disney Dining Plan, we generally don't have to spend much out of pocket on meals.

I would recommend that you keep track of what you are using, just to make sure you don't end up with unused credits.  At the end of our trip, we visit the resort gift shop with our extra snack credits and buy some treats for our plane trip home.

    I hope this helps!
