This is our 1st trip to WDW! We are going June 7-14, and will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, in one of the pirate rooms. Has anyone stayed at this resort in these particular rooms? I just wanted to get an idea of what to expect.

    Hi Lisa,

While I haven't stayed in the new pirate rooms yet, I did have the opportunity to see one of them a few weeks ago.  Captain Jack Sparrow would be proud!  The beds are set in what looks like pirate ships, and the furniture looks like treasure chests.  The bedding has gold, jewels and other "treasure", and the window treatment look like a pirate ship flag with a giant jolly roger.  The carpet looks like a treasure map, so look for the "X".  There is also a table that resembles a huge compass.  I think I remembered all of the key elements, but if you'd like to see some photos, search "pirate rooms" on allears.net, and you can see them first hand.

I think you and any other pirate-fans will be very happy with your choice of accommodation!  Be sure to visit the amazing pirate pool as well!

    Have a great time!
