Hi This is going to be my 1st trip to WDW in Feb/2013 ... I will be taking my 4 1/2 year old. I have booked a 5 night stay at the Port Orleans resort at Riverside...the royal guest rooms (river view) I have read mixed reviews about the resort. Any info?

Your first trip to Walt Disney World! In about two months you will be right in the middle of the magic meeting Disney princesses, flying above London with Wendy and Peter Pan, and bouncing through the 100 Acre Wood with Tigger.

Sleeping under brightly colored, exploding fireworks is certain to enchant your princess. The Royal Guest Rooms have elegant details such as gold fixtures, full, lush drapes, and regal red fabric covered chairs. Fun Disney princess references such as a letter from Tiana, a Cinderella carriage plaque, and a 3D princess group portrait are sprinkled throughout the room.

In case the beautifully appointed, excellently themed Royal Guest Room alone does not assure you of the wonderful choice you've made, consider the attributes of Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside. The well executed landscaping, architecture, and details make you feel you are in the Deep South rather than only a few miles away from the world's most popular theme park. Recreational choices range from the heated pool complex on Ol' Man Island to horse drawn carriage rides. One drawback to this resort is the multiple bus stops. Sometimes when you are excited to reach a theme park stopping two- three times can be frustrating. During peak travel times the buses can be crowded.

You and your princess are going to love your resort choice. Planning a first trip to WDW can be overwhelming so please contact me if you have additional questions. Enjoy your visit to Mickey!
