Hi, going a trip to WDW in 25 days! Any tips on making our trip any more "magical" we are taking our two daughters who are 8 & 3 celebrating a birthday for the oldest and it will be the baby's first time. And yes we are staying at a WDW res

    Hi David:

There is no better place to celebrate a birthday or plan a special vacation than at Walt Disney World. Of course just being at Disney World is enough to make any vacation or birthday special. But here are some ideas to make the visit extra special:
    • When you check in at your Disney Resort, let the Cast Members know that it's your daughter's birthday and first-time visit for the other daughter. It's possible the front desk may be able to help arrange some Disney magic for your daughters.
    • Remember to check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up a birthday button and first-visit button. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to greet your daughters with a kind gesture to make the day more memorable.
    • You also may consider contacting the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts online here or at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438. They can help create a personalized in-room celebration featuring your daughters' favorite Disney characters. They can also deliver personalized gift baskets to your Disney resort or a Disney restaurant where you may be enjoying a celebratory meal.
    • Arrange a special character meal dining reservation. You usually cannot go wrong with a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Royal Castle.
    • Consider a princess make-over appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
    • A simple treat, like buying a your daughters a balloon or bag of popcorn on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, will likely bring a huge smile to your children.

    Enjoy this special vacation.
