    1st trip to WDW. Will be checking in on 6/9/13 at WL w/HB and 2 sons (3&7), on our 12th wedding anniv. If we decide to go into MK that afternoon/evening, what would you recommend for a magical 1st evening including dinner and fireworks?

    Hello Jessica,

    First visit and 12th Anniversary! You have double the reason to celebrate! Let me start by saying that you are going to have an awesome time! Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a great resort! Be sure to try the  Whispering Canyon Cafe and don't forget to ask for the ketchup..it is quite the experience! 

    If you head out to the Magic Kingdom,  I would recommend either the Cinderella's Royal Table or the new Be Our Guest Restaurant to celebrate your magical 1st evening.  Although your boys, might prefer the Be Our Guest Restaurant as it is located inside Beast's Castle in the New Fantasyland area. This is fairly close to Cinderella's Castle were you will have the best view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.  If you stand in the forecourt of Cinderella's Castle or the surrounding bridges, be sure to look up to the sky when Tinker Bell takes flight over the park during the show!
