We're going in our 1st trip to WDW to celebratte my son's b-day next Sunday.. We r planning to spend the day at animal kingdom and at 8pm we have a reservation for dinner at chef Mickey, what time should we be leaving the park to make it on time?

    Hi Alejandra!

Wow!  Your vacation is this week -are you just bursting with excitement???  I am so thrilled that you were able to get a reservation at Chef Mickey's to celebrate your son's birthday.  Be sure to let your server know that you are celebrating.  You will also want to pick up a Birthday Pin at any Guest Relations desk -  It doesn't even matter if it is not his actual birthday, as long as YOU are celebrating, then so is Disney!

You should have plenty of time to experience just about everything that Animal Kingdom has to offer and still make your Advanced Dining Reservations with the Big Cheese.  I would head out to the bus stop at 6:30 PM and take the bus straight to the Contemporary Resort.  The trip will take about 25 minutes, but you will need to allow time to wait for the bus.  Once you arrive at the resort, you will need to head to the 4th floor to reach Chef Mickey's.  Have a fabulous vacation and wish your son a Happy Birthday from me!
