    This will be our 1st trip to WDW. I have an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique/Downtown Disney for my 7 year-old princess. My daughter's hair will be braided, for my convenience, and I want to know if braids will cause a problem with her makeover?

    Hello Shon!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I know how excited you must be getting for your first Walt Disney World vacation.  Get ready to start planning more, once you go you'll be hooked!  

    The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is one of my daughter's favorite things to do while on a Walt Disney World vacation.  To be honest, I love it too.  Her smile when they turn the chair around is like nothing else.  I recently shot a video at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique describing the experience in more detail.  I'll attach it to this answer so you can watch if you'd like!  

    The Fairy Godmothers- In-Training have experience with all types of hair, so no worries.  If the braids aren't braided down all the way and they are able to put her hair up on top of her head, they will do that and then attach the hairpiece.  If not, they may leave some hair down and find another way to attach the hairpiece but it will still look great.  I've seen pictures of it done both ways and I think you'd be happy with the results.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
