6th trip to WDW,4 adults staying at POR. Going to Universal for 1 day then back to Hollywood Studios for dinner. What's best way to and from? Is there a shuttle? Taxi? Please help.

Hi, Tim!    Since Universal Studios is not part of WDW, you will need to find your own transportation.   A taxi will really be your only option without a car.   When you check in, ask the cast member the best way to get a taxi.   When leaving Universal, check for a taxi stand and a driver can bring you drive you back to Hollywood Studios for your dinner.

Taxis are quite expensive, and you might be better off renting a car for the day.  You can do this through Alamo or National, and cars can be picked up at the Car Car Center near the Magic Kingdom or at the Dolphin Resort near the Boardwalk.  Contact the car companies directly for pricing and reservations.   You might want to check www.mousesavers.com for discount codes and I also like to see if my Entertainment Book has any coupons that might apply.

I hope you enjoy Port Orleans Riverside and have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
