1st trip 2011.We used a GAC for our son (multiplie medical issues) as well as a pushchair. We are planning to return. We will use the GAC again, however may not use pushchair. How will access to Fantasmic be different w/o chair. Will have service dog.

Hi Charles! So glad to hear about your return visit with your son to Walt Disney World. I am sure he is getting excited about this new trip you are planning.

Yes, please check in with the Guest Relations desks at each park to receive the Guest Assistance cards.  Since you have used these before you will understand the process and the use for them. Now that you will have a service dog with you the procedure might be a bit different from some of the attractions but the cast member at each location will assist you to make the experience magical. Guest Relations will also be able to assist you in the areas where you can allow your dog to rest or relieve itself in the park. There are designated areas and they will note them on a map for you.

When you arrive for the Fantasmic show please show the cast member your GAC and make note of the service dog with you. Again they will direct you to the best location for your son to have an enjoyable experience for the show as well as making sure your service dog will not be affected by the loud noises and crowds. Be sure and let them know your needs with or without a push chair. Communication to cast members is vital when needing the extra assistance as with many medical issues that aren't visible it is impossible for them to understand without your help.  I am sure this will be just as special as the last trip!
