    trip 6/2013. Are trying a moderate resort for the 1st time. Have heard good things about Port Orleans-Riverside. What is the best building to request to stay in that is close to the building with the food court, main pool and close to bus stops?

    Hi there Kristin,

    Funny you ask!  I just spent a fabulous week at Port Orleans Riverside last month.  I have stayed at this resort many times and have stayed in several different buildings throughout the property!  My absolute favorite location is Parterre Place.  This section is located in the Mansion area of the resort and is located just a short walk away from the Sassagoula Steamboat Company, the resort's main building which houses the lobby, shopping and dining and also Ol' Man Island, the resort's pool and recreation area.  Both areas are accessible via a scenic bridge that crosses the beautiful Sassagoula River!
