Have trip 10-3 to 11-9. Have tickets for MNSSHP & have done MVMCP before. Was going to book again but then thought we could eat at Cal. Grill instead but only res I can get is at 9:35 pm. Would this work for fireworks or party instead? ME, DS 12, DDs 9

    Hi Melissa,

That's such a tough choice! I really enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but I never pass up a chance for a meal at California Grill. It's my family's favorite Walt Disney World restaurant, especially for special occasions, and has been since my daughters were about the age of your children.

The schedule for this year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party activities hasn't been released yet, but in past years, the Holiday Wishes fireworks have taken place at 9:30 p.m. So, if you make sure to check in at California Grill a bit early, you should have perfect timing to see the display.

A second observation deck was added to the restaurant during last year's renovation, which makes viewing experience even better.

I hope that helps you decide. I'm sure you and your children will have a great experience, no matter which experience you choose. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can do anything else to help.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
