Hi Rebecca. Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you to you and your family for your service. Because of families like yours, Guests like me get to enjoy
Walt Disney World with confidence year after year, and that means a lot.
You are going to love the new
Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. It is one of the best values Disney offers, giving eligible service members and their families the chance to visit as often as they would like through December 2026 with advance park reservations. It is Disney’s way of saying thank you.
To purchase tickets,
visit your local U.S. Military base ticket office. Once you have them in hand, you can link them right to your My Disney Experience account. The quickest way is through the
My Disney Experience app. After signing in, tap the menu, choose Tickets and Passes, tap the plus sign in the top right to open the option to Link Tickets & Passes, and enter the ticket number or take a photo of the barcode provided by your base office. Once linked, you will be able to make all of your theme park reservations and
Lightning Lane selections from home. Linking the tickets does not activate them, so do not worry about using any of your entitlements just by loading them into your account.
Activation takes place once you arrive in Florida. Any adult using a ticket, including the eligible service member or spouse, will need to show a valid military ID at activation. You can take care of this at any
Guest Relations window outside the theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. I always suggest Disney Springs. It is relaxed, easy to access on arrival day, and it lets you walk into your first park morning ready to go with no extra steps between you and that rope drop moment.
I hope this clears things up and helps you feel more prepared as your January trip approaches. If you want help building out your days or would like some recommendations based on your family’s style of vacationing, come back to planDisney and
send another question my way. I would be honored to help.
Respectfully,
Brent
